RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, APPROVING MASTER JOINT
PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT, NUMBER 2005-A, BETWEEN
COLLIER COUNTY AND THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF
TRANSPORTATION
WHEREAS, the Collier County Airport Authority, by Authority Resolution
and Executive Summary, has recommended that the Board of County
Commissioners approve the subject Master Joint Participation Agreement (MJPA)
between Collier County and the Florida Department of Transportation are
explained in the Executive Summary; and
WHEREAS, the Board has the requisite authority to enter into the subject
MJP A to undertake the subject project, as by Chapter 332, Florida Statutes, and by
Chapter 14-60, Florida Administrative Code,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that
1, Master Joint Participation Agreement, Number 2005-A, is hereby
approved.
2, Board Chairman, Fred W. Coyle, is hereby authorized to enter into,
modify, or terminate the MJPA with the Florida Department of
Transportation, unless the proposed MJP A is otherwise specifically
rescinded.
3, This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
ADOPTED this 24th day of May 2005 after motion, second and majority vote
favoring adoption.
