RESOLUTION NO. 2005-188
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, TO APPOINT RONALD ALBEIT
TO THE TOURIST DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL.
WHEREAS, Collier County Ordinance No. 92-18, as amended, created the Tourist
Development Council and provides that the Council shall be composed of nine (9) voting
members pursuant to Section 125.0104(4)(e), Florida Statutes; and
WHEREAS, there is currently a vacancy in the category of Owner/Operator; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners previously provided public notice
soliciting applications from interested parties; and
WHEREAS, the Tourist Development Council has provided the Board of County
Commissioners with its recommendations for appointment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that Ronald Albeit, representing the category of
Owner/Operator, is hereby appointed to the Tourist Development Council to fulfill the
remainder of the vacant term, said term to expire on April 21, 2006.
This Resolution adopted after motion, second and majority vote.
