Resolution 2005-183 RESOLUTION NO. 2005-183 RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY TO APPOINT, REAPPOINT AND CONFIRM THE APPOINTMENT OF MEMBERS TO THE COLLIER COUNTY COASTAL ADVISORY COMMITTEE. WHEREAS, tile Boar'd of County Commissioners adopted Collier County Ordinance No. 2001 ~03, as amended, creating the Collier County Coastal Advisory Committee; and WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 2001 ~03 provides that the Coastal Advisory Committee shall be composed of nine (9) members whose representation shall consist of three (3) members from the unincorporated area of Collier County, 3 members from the City or Marco Island, and 3 members from the City of Naples; and WHEREAS, the terms of 3 members will expire and there is currently a vacancy on this Committee, which includes vacancies from the City of Naples and the City of Marco Island; and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners previously provided public notice soliciting applications from interested parties; and WHEREAS, the Cummittee has provided the Board of County Commissioners with its recommendations for appointment; and WHEREAS, both the City of Naples and the City of Marco Island have provided the Board of County Commissioners with their recommendations for appointment to this Committee. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that: 1. Gerald W. Camiener meets the prerequisites for appointment and is hereby appointed to the Collier County Coastal Advisory Committee to fulfill the remainder of the vacant term, said term to expire on May 22, 2007. 2. Anthony P. Pires, Jr., meets the prerequisites for appointment and is hereby reappointed to the Collier County Coastal Advisory Committee for a 4 year term, said term to expire on May 22, 2009. 3. Councilman John F. Sorey, representing the City of Naples, meets the prerequisites for appointment and is hereby reconfirmed and reappointed to the Collier County Coastal Advisory Committee for a 4 year term, said term to expire on May 22, 2009. 4. Ronald J. Minarcini, representing the City of Marco Island, meets the prerequisites for appointment and is hereby confirmed and appointed to the Collier County Coastal Advisory Committee for a 4 year term, said term to expire on May 22, 2009.
