Resolution 2019-016 RESOLUTION NO. 2019— 16
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
COLLIER COUNTY,FLORIDA, APPOINTING JUSTIN LEE EMENS,
GARY HAINS AND DENISE MURPHY TO THE AFFORDABLE
HOUSING ADVISORY COMMITTEE.
WHEREAS, on July 31, 1991, the Board of County Commissioners adopted Ordinance
No. 91-65 establishing the Affordable Housing Advisory Committee; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 91-65, as subsequently amended, on April 9, 2013 was
repealed and replaced by Ordinance No. 13-27, which recreated and reestablished the Affordable
Housing Advisory Committee in accordance with F.S. § 420.9076. This Advisory Committee
consists of eleven voting members appointed by the Board of County Commissioners based on
the membership categories described in F.S. § 420.9076(2)a.-k.; and
WHEREAS,there are currently vacancies on this Advisory Committee; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners previously provided public notice
soliciting applications from interested parties; and
WHEREAS, the Advisory Committee has provided the Board of County Commissioners
with its recommendations for appointment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that JUSTIN LEE EMENS,
representing the category of Banking and Mortgage, F.S. 420.9076(2)b; GARY HAINS,
representing the category of Labor Engaged In Home Building, F.S. 420.9076(2)c; and DENISE
MURPHY, representing the category of For-Profit Developer, F.S. 420.9076(2)e, are hereby
appointed to the Affordable Housing Advisory Committee to terms expiring October 1, 2021.
THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED upon majority vote this 22nd day of January, 2019.
