EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommendation that the Board, acting as the Community Redevelopment Agency Board (CRAB),
approve and authorize the Chairman to sign First Amendment to Commercial Building
Improvement Grant Agreement between the Community Redevelopment Agency and Naples 2.0
LLC (Celebration Food Truck Park), correcting the Scrivener’s error identified in the original
agreement approved June 12, 2018 by changing the project completion dates to June 11, 2019.
OBJECTIVE: To correct the Scrivener’s error identified in the original agreement approved June 12,
2018.
CONSIDERATIONS: During the reimbursement review process of the commercial Building
improvement Grant (C-BIG) Agreement staff noticed the project completion dates in the original
agreement were incorrect (January 1, 2019 and October 25, 2018). Grant guidelines provide for 12
months to complete the projects. This action will correct the project completion dates to June 11, 2019.
The new agreement will correct the error prior to submitting to Finance for reimbursement.
FISCAL IMPACT: Local funds in the amount of $30,00.00 are available in Bayshore CRA Fund (187).
GROWTH MANAGEMENT IMPACT: The proposed improvements approved through the CBIG
program will further the goals, objectives and policies outlined in the future land use element for the
Bayshore Gateway Triangle Redevelopment Overlay.
LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS: This item has been approved for form and legality and requires a
majority vote for approval-JAB
RECOMMENDATION: Recommendation that the Board of County Commissioners, acting as the
Community Redevelopment Agency Board (CRAB), approves and authorizes the Chairman to sign the
First Amendment to Commercial Building Improvement Grant Agreement between the Community
Redevelopment Agency and Naples 2.0 LLC in the amount of $30,000 for the property located at 2080
Becca Avenue located within the Bayshore Gateway Triangle Community Redevelopment Area.
