RESOLUTION NO. 2005-112
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, TO APPOINT MEMBERS TO
THE PARKS AND RECREATION ADVISORY BOARD.
WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board was created on November 25,
1975, and was composed of five (5) members; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners, on October 25, 1993, adopted
Ordinance No. 93-81 which increased the membership from five (5) members to seven
(7) members; and
WHEREAS, there are currently vacancies in the category of Urban Area Community
Park District; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners previously provided public notice
soliciting applications from interested parties; and
WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board has provided the Board of
County Commissioners with its recommendation for appointment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that:
1. Darrol R. Riffle, representing the Urban Area Community Park District, is hereby
appointed to the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board to fulfill the remainder of the
vacant term, said term expiring December 31, 2006.
2. Timothy D. Toole, representing the Urban Area Community Park District, is
hereby appointed to the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board to fulfill the remainder of
the vacant term, said term expiring December 31, 2006.
This Resolution adopted after motion, second and majority vote.
