Resolution 2005-091 RESOLUTION NO. 2005-91 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, TO EXTEND THE TERMS OF TWO MEMBERS ON THE LAND ACQUISITION ADVISORY COMMITTEE WHEREAS, on December 3, 2002, the Board of County Commissioners adopted Collier County Ordinance No. 2002-63 which created the Land Acquisition Advisory Committee; and WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 2002-63 provides that the Land Acquisition Advisory Committee shall consist of nine (9) members that are residents of Collier County which comprise a broad and balanced representation of interests, including environmental and conservation, agricultural and business, educational interests, and general civic and citizen interests; and WHEREAS, the terms of 2 members will expire on February 11, 2005, creating vacancies on this Committee; and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners previously proVided public notice soliciting applications from interested parties; and WHEREAS, a memorandum from the Conservation Collier Program Coordinator was forwarded to the Board of County Commissioners for a recommendation to extend the terms of membership for 30 days. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the terms of Kathy Prosser and William Poteet are hereby extended for thirty (30) days, said term to expire on March 10, 2005, or until an official appointment can be made.
