WHEREAS, Collier County Ordinance No. 93-81 established the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board to advise the Board of County Commissioners on matters pertaining to the acquisition, development and programs involving County park facilities; and WHEREAS, Ordinance 93-81, as subsequently amended, provides that this Advisory Board shall be composed of seven members, consisting of one member from the Immokalee Community Park District and six members from the Naples and Urban Area Community Park District; and WHEREAS,three seats on this Advisory Board expired on December 31, 2018; and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners previously provided public notice soliciting applications from interested parties; and WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board has provided the Board of County Commissioners with its recommendations for reappointment.
