EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommendation to adopt a Resolution to approve the Satisfactions of Lien for Solid Waste
residential accounts wherein the County has received payment and said Liens are satisfied in
full for the 1994, 1995, and 1996 Solid Waste Collection and Disposal Services Special
Assessment. Fiscal impact is $48.00 to record the Satisfactions of Lien.
OBJECTIVE: Adopt a Resolution approving the Satisfactions of Lien for residential accotmts
where the County has received payment in full for the 1994, 1995, and 1996 Solid Waste Collection
Services Special Assessment.
CONSIDERATIONS: Resolution No. 95-475 adopted by the Board on August 22, 1995 provided
for the recording of the list of 1994 delinquent solid waste collection and disposal services special
assessment and a mailing of a written notice of the imposition of each rcsidential unit lJien.
Resolution No. 95-475 was recorded on September 14, 1995 in Official Record Book 2099, Pages
1338 through 1574 of the Official Records of Collier County, Florida, which placed a lien on
certain residential properties for the 1994 Solid Waste Collection Services Special Assessment.

Resolution No. 2000-236 adopted by the Board on August I, 2000 provided for the recording of the
list of 1995 delinquent solid waste collection and disposal services special assessment and a
mailing of a written notice of the imposition of each rcsidential unit lien. Resolution No. 2000-236
was recorded on August 8, 2000 in Official Record Book 2707, Pages 3195 through 3273 of the
Official Records of Collier County, Florida, which placed a lien on certain residential properties for
the 1995 Solid Waste Collection Services Special Assessment.
Resolution No. 2000-237 adopted by the Board on August 1,2000 provided for tbe recording of the
list of 1996 delinquent solid waste collection and disposal services special assessment and a
mailing of a written notice of the imposition of each residential unit lien. Resolution No. 2000-237
was recorded on August 8, 2000 in Official Record Book 2708, Pages 0199 through 0309 of the
Official Records of Collier County, Florida, which placed a lien on certain residential properties for
the 1996 Solid Waste Collection Services Special Assessment.

Collier County Ordinance No. 90-30, as amended, provides the Satisfactions of Lien shall be
approved by Resolution.
The attached Resolution lists the three accounts that have paid in full for the 1994, 1995, and 1996
Solid Waste Collection Services Special Assessment Lien.
FISCAL IMP ACT: The fiscal impact for recording the Satisfactions of Lien and the Resolutions is
approximately $48.00, which is to be charged to County Water/Sewer Operating Fund (408).
LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS: This item has been reviewed and approved by the County
- Attorney's Office and is legally sufficient--JBW.

GROWTH MANAGEMENT IMPACT: There is no Growth Management impact associated with
thcse items.
RECOMMENDATION: That the Board of County Commissioners adopt the attached Resolution
approving the three Satisfactions of Lien for the accounts listed in the Resolutions and authorizing
the Chairman to sign the three Satisfactions of Lien for the 1994, 1995, and 1996 Solid Wasle
Collection Services Special Assessment Lien.

RESOLUTION NO. 2009 -
A RESOLUTION APPROVING SATISFACTIONS OF LIEN
FOR CERTAIN ACCOUNTS THAT HAVE BEEN PAID IN
FULL, INCLUDING INTEREST, ARISING FROM THE
1994,1995, AND 1996 SOLID WASTE COLLECTION AND
DISPOSAL SERVICES SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Collier County Ordinance No. 90-30, as amended, the Board of
County Commissioners on August 22, 1995, adopted Resolution No. 95-475 authorizing the
recording of notices ofliens for the delinquent solid waste collection and disposal services sp<:cial
assessments for 1994; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Collier County Ordinance No. 90-30, as amended, the Board of
County Commissioners on August I, 2000, adopted Resolution No. 2000-236 autborizing the
recording of notices of liens for the delinquent solid waste collection and disposal services special
assessments for 1995; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Collier County Ordinance No. 90-30, as amended. the Board of
County Commissioners on August I, 2000, adopted Resolution No. 2000-237 authorizing the
recording of notices of liens for the delinquent solid waste collection and disposal scrvices special
assessments for 1996; and
WHEREAS, Collier County Ordinance No. 90-30, as amended, rcquires the Board to
approve by Resolution and record in the Official Records Satisfactions of Lien on all accounts that
have been paid in full.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that:
Pursuant to Collier County Ordinance No. 90-30, as amended, the Board recognizes full
payment and rcccipt of the 1994, 1995, and 1996 Service Year Solid Waste Collection and
