PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS, The Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce and the Leadership
Collier Foundation are hosting the 2018 Naples Children's Business
Fair; and,
WHEREAS, this day inspires children to ignite their entrepreneurial passions
and increases awareness to stimulate and incubate entrepreneurism
to help establish the next generation of innovators and business
owners; and
WHEREAS, the Naples Children's Business Fair offers the opportunity for
young entrepreneurs to showcase and sell their product or service
to the public; and,
WHEREAS, children will learn free-market principles, how the workforce drives
the local economy, and to relish in the rewards of their hard work;
and,
WHEREAS, the Leadership Collier Foundation strives to build a broad-based
network for community leaders and future leaders to enhance their
leadership abilities and skills through continuing education, shared
perspectives and community involvement.
NOW THEREFORE, be it proclaimed by the Board of County Commissioners of
Collier County, Florida, that October 20, 2018, be designated as
CHILDREN'S BUSINESS FAIR DAY
IN COLLIER COUNTY
DONE AND ORDERED THIS 9th Day of October 2018.
