EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommendation to appoint a member to the Golden Gate Community Center Advisory Board.
OBJECTIVE: To appoint one member to the Golden Gate Community Center Advisory Board to serve
a three-year term expiring on December 31, 2021.
CONSIDERATIONS: This 5-member committee was created by Ord. No. 75-4, as amended, to advise
the Board of County Commissioners on the budget and operation of the Golden Gate Community Center.
Members must reside within the boundaries of the Golden Gate Community Center Municipal Services
Special Taxing District. Terms are 3 years. A list of the current membership is included in the backup.
There is one current vacancy on this committee. The vacancy was advertised, and the following

COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATION: At its regular meeting on October 1, 2018, the committee
voted unanimously to recommend that the Board of County Commissioners appoint Ms. Lees -Davis to a
three-year term which shall expire on December 31, 2021. The minutes of that meeting at which her
application was reviewed are included in the backup.
FISCAL IMPACT: None.
GROWTH MANAGEMENT IMPACT: None.
RECOMMENDATION: That the Board of County Commissioners adopts the Committee
Recommendation and directs the County Attorney to prepare a resolution confirming the appointment.
