WHEREAS, Collier County hosted the first Florida Fish and Wildlife
Conservation Commission Youth Hunt at Pepper Ranch Preserve
from April 16, 2010 through April 18, 2010, and,
WHEREAS, Eighteen volunteers contributed over 580 hours of service to
make the youth hunt possible; and,
WHEREAS, these volunteers showed that they truly cared and shared the
generosity of themselves; and,
WHEREAS, these volunteers reflected the power to "inspire by example".-
and,
WHEREAS, these volunteers both encouraged those they helped and
motivated others to serve; and,
WHEREAS, we wish to honor and thank these dedicated volunteers who gave
so freely of their valuable time, energy, and abilities.
NOW THEREFORE, be it proclaimed by the Board of County Commissioners of
Collier County, Florida, that the volunteers who assisted with the
first Pepper Ranch Youth Hog Hunt be recognized for their
service, and, in doing so, we cal/ on all citizens to help renew and
sustain the spirit and vitality of this great nation by committing
a portion of their time in addressing the needs of their
community through voluntary action.
