EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommendation to authorize a budget amendment re-appropriating $762,578.46 from Sheriff
Access Management Projects Project (50159) to the Records Management Project (53011) for the
completion of the Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) Project.
OBJECTIVE: To complete the CAD project for the Collier County Sheriff's Office.
CONSIDERATION: The Collier County Sheriff's Office has $762,578.46 budgeted in Sheriff’s Access
Management System Project 50159. At this time the Collier County Sheriff's Office will not be utilizing
these funds for Access Management and would like to move this funding over to project 53011 to
complete the CAD project.
FISCAL IMPACT: A budget amendment is required to move monies from the Access Management
Project 53011 to Sheriff’s Records Management Project 50159 to complete the CAD Project.
GROWTH MANAGEMENT: No recurring costs for subsequent years.
LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS: This item has been reviewed by the County Attorney, raises no legal
issues, and requires majority vote for approval. -JAK
RECOMMENDATION: That the Board of County Commissioners authorizes a budget amendment re-
appropriating $762,578.46 from the Sheriff’s Access Management Project 50159 to the Sheriff’s Record
Management Project 53011.
