A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, APPOINTING INITIAL MEMBERS TO
THE COLLIER COUNTY PUBLIC SAFETY AUTHORITY.
WHEREAS, on June 26, 2012, the Board of County Commissioner (Board) adopted
Ordinance No. 2012 -23 establishing the Collier County Public Safety Authority to assume the
duties and responsibilities of the former Collier County Emergency Medical Services Policy
Advisory Board; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 2012 -23 sets forth the appointment process for the Public
Safety Authority and the categories of professional expertise required of its membership.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the following members are
hereby appointed to the Collier County Public Safety Authority, with their terms set as follows:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Collier County residency requirements established
for advisory board members pursuant to Ordinance No. 2001 -55, as amended, are hereby waived
for Phillip C. Dutcher.
THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED after motion, second and majority vote on this the 11th
