Scope of Work: As detailed in the attached proposal and the following:
• Task I - Reactor Tank 2 Exterior Crack Repair
• Task 11 - Reactor Tank 3 Exterior Crack Repair
• Task III - Reactor Tanks 2 & 3 Exterior Waterproofing
• Task IV - Reactor Tank 3 Mechanical and Electrical Improvements
• Task V - Reactor Tank 2 Drain Valve Removal and Replacement
• Task VI - 15% Allowance for Owner Directed Work including but not limited to repairs due to structural
deterioration, tank cleaning and painting, replacement of defective mechanical equipment and deficient
electrical components.
Schedule of Work: Complete work within 210 days from the date of the Notice to Proceed which is accompanying this Work
Order.
Compensation: In accordance with Agreement #08-5011, the County will compensate the Firm in accordance with following

The following clarifications are issued as an addendum identifying the following change (s)
for the referenced solicitation:
1. In Specification Section 01026 - Measurement and Payment, Paragraph 3. 1, Page
3 of 3, following Bid Item 4, Add the following:
" D. Bid Item 5: Reactor Tank 2 Drain Valve Removal and Replacement
1. Payment shall include the cost of:
a. Removal of existing 8 -inch plug valve and
appurtenances.
b. Installation of new 8 -inch plug, including actuator,
valve box and stem.
c. Other appurtenant and incidental work required,
including excavation and backfiil, sidewalk repair,
connection to existing piping, and restoration.
