RESOLUTION NO. 2012 — 56
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, REAPPOINTING JEREMY STERK
AND APPOINTING TODD ALLEN TO THE LAND ACQUISITION
ADVISORY COMMITTEE.
WHEREAS, Collier County Ordinance No. 2002 -63, established the Land Acquisition
Advisory Committee to assist the Board of County Commissioners in establishing an "Active
Properties Acquisition List" with qualified purchase recommendations consistent with the goals
of Conservation Collier; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 2002 -63, as amended, provides that this Advisory
Committee shall consist of nine members representing the broad and balanced interests of Collier
County Citizens as set forth in the Ordinance; and
WHEREAS, there are currently two vacancies on this Advisory Committee; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners previously provided public notice
soliciting applications from interested parties; and
WHEREAS, the Land Acquisition Advisory Committee has provided the Board of
County Commissioners with its recommendations for appointment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that JEREMY STERK, with
expertise in environmental, ecology, and conservation, is hereby reappointed and TODD
ALLEN, with expertise in agriculture and business and land appraisal, is hereby appointed to the
Land Acquisition Advisory Committee to serve three -year terms, said terms to expire on
February 11, 2015.
THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED after motion, second and majority vote on this the 27th
day of March, 2012.
