PROCLAMA TION
WHEREAS, county government is o complex and multifaceted process which
affects the lives of all residents of Collier County; and,
WHEREAS, an increased knowledge of how various aspects of county
government work can enhance on individuals quality of life in
Collier County, and,
WHEREAS, it is desirable for all county residents to be knowledgeable of the
county's government and how it works; and,
WHEREAS, the Collier County University Extensi=14 -H Youth Development,
The League of Women's Voters, and the Collier County Public
Schools have co- sponsored the Know Your County Government Teen
Citizenship program for 32 years.
NOW THEREFORE, be it proclaimed by the Board of County Commissioners of
Collier County, Florida, that March 26th through March 30th,
2012 be designated as the
