PROCL AMA TION
WHEREAS, the Marco Movies multiplex theatre has been serving the community since its
inception in 1993; and,
WHEREAS, Nick Campo created one of the original first -run cinemas in the nation to offer
full menu food and beverage service in the theater, a concept that over the years
has caught on and spread across the USA, and,
WHEREAS, Mr. Campo has brought the Marco Movies into the digital age with state-of-the-
art sound and high definition quality, including 3-D, plus luxury interiors with
leather seats and granite counter -and -table tops, and,
WHEREAS, the generosity of Mr. Campo in making Marco Movies available for community and
civic events has been a major asset to Marco Island,
NOW THEREFORE, be it proclaimed by the Board of County Commissioners of Collier County,
Florida, that December 13, 2013 be designated as
THE 20TH ANNIVERSARY OF MARCO MOVIES
DONE AND ORDERED THIS 10th Day of December, 2013.
