In most cases (some contracts are an exception), the original document and this routing slip JAK should be provided to the County Attorney Office at the time the item is input into SIRE. Some documents are time sensitive and require forwarding to Tallahassee within a certain time frame or the BCC's actions are nullified. Be aware of your deadlines! 8. WHEREAS, on October 10, 1978, the Board of County Commissioners (Board) adopted Ordinance No. 78-49, as subsequently amended, establishing an advisory committee to advise to the Board regarding the affairs of the Isles of Capri Municipal Rescue and Fire Services Taxing District (Isles of Capri Fire Control District Advisory Committee); and WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 78-49, as amended, provides that this Advisory Committee shall consist of three to five electors residing within the district to serve staggered terms of two years each; and WHEREAS, there are currently vacancies on this Advisory Committee; and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners previously provided public notice soliciting applications from interested parties; and WHEREAS, the Isles of Capri Fire Control District Advisory Committee has provided the Board of County Commissioners with its recommendation for appointment. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that JAMES HUGHES is hereby reappointed to the Isles of Capri Fire Control District Advisory Committee to serve a two-year term, said term to expire on December 31, 2015 THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED after motion, second and majority vote on this the 10th day of December, 2013.
