COMMISSIONER REQUEST FOR BOARD APPROV AL FOR PAYMENT TO
ATTEND FUNCTION SERVING A VALID PUBLIC PURPOSE
OBJECTIVE: For the Board of County Commissioners to deelare a valid public
purpose for a Commissioner to attend function/event and approve payment hy the Clerk.
CONSIDERA nONS: Pursuant to Rcsolution No. 99-410, the Board of County
Commissioners has dctcrmined that attendance at the functions of fratemal, husiness,
environmental, educational, eharitahle, social, professional, trade, homeowners, ethnic,
and civic assoeiation!orgunizat ions serves a valid puhlie purpose. provided that said
functions reasonably relatc to Collier County matters.
