EXECUTIVE SUMMAHY
COMMISSIONER REQUEST FOH BOAHD APPHOVAL FOR PAYMENT TO
ATTEND FUNCTION SERVING A VALID PUBLIC PURPOSE
OBJECTIVE: For the Board of County Commissioncrs to declare a valid public
purpose for a Commissioner to attend function/event and approve payment by the Clerk.
CONSIDERATIONS: Pursuant to Resolution No. YY-410, the Board of County
Commissioners has determined that attendance at the functions of fratemal, business,
environmental. educational, charitable, social, professional, trade, homcowners, ethnic,
and civic assoeiation/organizalions serves a valid public purpose. providcd that said
functions reasonably rclatc to Collicr County mattcrs.

PUBLIC PURPOSE: Mect and interact with business and community leaders.
