must be advertised In a Collier County publication in accordance with Section 197.402-
403 and sections 50.011 and 50.031, Florida Statutes.
The Tax Collector and Purchasing staff jointly prepared Invitation to Bid (ITB) 10-5590
Advertising of Delinquent Property Taxes and announced this solicitation on September
13, 2010 to 292 vendor email addresses. A total of 38 suppliers requested the ITB
solicitation package. Vendors were asked to provide delinquent real estate and
personal property square inch and per parcel unit pricing, along with circulation
documentation and other miscellaneous submittals. There were no vendor quotes
submitted in response to ITB 10-5590 for the Advertising of Delinquent Property Taxes.
The Tax Col/ector and Purchasing staff recommends that the Board advertises its
calendar year delinquent real estate or personal property taxes in the Naples Daily
News.
FISCAL IMPACT: Funds are available in FY 2011 Tax Collector budgets for this
service; final costs are collected as a part of tax payer's assessment.
