PROCLAMA TION
WHEREAS, business and industry in Collier County are vital to the
community'.s economic health: and,
WHEREAS, Collier County's existing businesses and industries are the key to
a prosperous future; and,
WHEREAS, the recruitment of new companies to Collier County to improve
employment opportunities and dive:rsify the local economy is
considered a priority'for Collier County; and,
WHEREAS, these businesses and industries help sustain our quality of place,
exemplify high standards of excellence and a positive:, responsible
approach to economic dive:rsification and community enhancement
and prDvides a)1 citizens with an opportunity for upward mobility;
and,
WHEREAS, public knowledge ot the' cDntribution made by business and
industry is essential to maintain a good commimity-
business/industry relationship: and,
NOW THEREFORE:, be it proclaimed by the Board of County Commissioners of
Collier County, Florida, that September 20 through September
24, 2010 be designated as
INDl/STRY APPRECIA nON WeEK
and encourage all residents to salute our businesses and
industries and their employees for their contributions to Collier
County.
