EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommendation to accept donated funds in the amount of $5,940 and
approve a budget amendment recognizing revenue and appropriating
funds in 001.156363 Beach and Water Operations for Conner Park.
Obiective: To enhance beach park operations through private contributions donated by
David Krause.
Considerations: A donation in the amount of $5,940 has been received for the
purchase and installation of a drinking fountain at Conner Park. This drinking fountain
will be for the public that frequent the park. The donor has asked that this fountain be
purchased and installed at the park.
Staff has prepared a budget amendment that recognizes the donation as revenue and
appropriates it to the Beach and Water Operations fund center within the Parks and
Recreation budget.
Fiscal ImDact: Approving this budget amendment will increase the Parks and
Recreation Department Beach and Water Operations FY] 0 budget by $5,940.
Growth Manaaement ImDact: No growth management impact is associated with this
action.
Leaal Considerations: This item has been reviewed and approved by the County
Attorney's Office and is legally sufficient for Board action.-CMG
Recommendation: That the Collier County Board of County Commissioners accepts
the donated funds and approves the necessary budget amendment.
