EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommendation to approve and authorize the Chairman to sign the satisfaction of mortgage for
an owner occupied affordable housing dwelling unit that has satisfied the terms of assistance
provided.
OBJECTIVE: Approve and authorize the Chairman to sign the satisfaction of mortgage for an owner
occupied affordable housing dwelling unit that has satisfied the terms of assistance provided.
CONSIDERATIONS: Recipients of affordable housing assistance are required to repay the County
upon sale, refinance or loss of homestead exemption. The following recipient has fulfilled the obligations
of the affordable housing assistance provided by Collier County:

Approval of this item will authorize the Chairman to sign the satisfaction of mortgage for an owner
occupied affordable housing dwelling unit that has satisfied the terms of assistance provide. Following
approval and execution, the documents shall be recorded in the public records of Collier County, Florida.
FISCAL IMPACT: State Housing Initiatives Partnership Program (SHIP) funds in the amount of
$2,500.00 have been repaid and are considered program income. Such funds may be reused for eligible
SHIP program activities.
GROWTH MANAGEMENT IMPACT: There is no growth management impact associated with this
Executive Summary.
LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS: This item has been reviewed and approved by the County Attorney's
Office. It is legally sufficient for Board action. - JW
