EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommendation to authorize the Chairman to sign a property owner's
agreement with the City of Naples Police Department to allow access to
three County parks located within the City limits.
Obiective: To provide approval relating to a property owners agreement with the City
of Naples Police Department
Considerations: Collier County Parks and Recreation has three parks within the City
of Naples, North Gulf Shore Beach Access, Freedom Park and the Naples Zoo. This
agreement will allow the City of Naples Police Department to access our property to
issue trespass warnings or arrest individuals that are trespassing on our property. The
agreement also allows the City of Naples Police Department to access our property to
seek out individuals who may be engaged in illegal activities on the property, Currently a
parks staff member must be present at the time a trespass warning or arrest is made, and
sometimes that is just not practical.
This agreement provides regulations relating to the public parks facilities to preserve their
intended benefit which is to provide adequate public park safety,
Fiscallmoact: There is no Fiscal Impact with associated with this resolution,
Growth Manaaement Imoact: There is no Growth Management Impact is associated
with this action,
Leaal Considerations: This item has been reviewed and approved by the County
Attorney's Office and is legally sufficient for Board action,- CMG

PROPERTY OWNER'S AGREEMENT
We the undersigned owner (s), being fully aware of our legal and constitutional rights, do
individually and collectively appoint the Police Officers of the City of Naples, Florida as follows:
(1) The Chief and his officers are hereby requested to enforce F.S.S. 810,08 (3) and issue
trespass warnings or arrest individuals trespllll8ing on our property described under
F,S,S, Chapter 810,
(2) The Chief and his officers have free access to our described property located in the
City of Naples, Florida in order to seek out and aneet those individuals who may be
engaged in illegal activities on the property
Further, as the owner/agent in control of the described property, I agree to provide whatever
assistance and testimony is necessary to prosecute individuals trespassing or engaged in other
illegal activities on OUf property, I agree to advise the Naples Police Department prior to any
change in ownership or management
