EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommendation to approve the necessary budget amendment from the
Ochopee Fire Control District impact fee reserves in the amount of
$2,500.00 for the purpose of purchasing personal protective gear for a new
position.
OBJECTIVE: To approve the budget amendment in the amount of $2,500.00 for
the purpose of purchasing personal protective gear for a new position.
CONSIDERATIONS: Due to growth in the District, a Captain's position was
created and has been filled. Personal protective gear is required for all
personnel. The Department wishes to purchase the equipment out of the Impact
Fee Budget where funds are available in Reserves,
FISCAL IMPACT: A budget amendment is needed to move $2,500.00 out of
Ochopee Fire Control District Impact Fee Reserves (fund 372) and place into the
Protective Gear Project 50072.1.
GROWTH MANAGEMENT IMPACT: There is no growth management impact
associated with this Executive Summary.
LEGAL CONSIDERATION: This item is legally sufficient for Board action. -JW
RECOMMENDATION: That the Board of County Commissioners approve the
necessary budget amendment.
