substantial growth and uncertain economic times depends an engineers
developing innovative" creative, and high-quality solutions to technical

WH€REAS, engineers, above all else in the practice of their prafession, hold
paramaunt the safety, hea'th, and we'fare of the public: and,
WH€REAS, thraugh the ce'ebration of Engineers Week each year, the F'orida
Engineering Society and its Ca'uSQ Chapter are dedicated to sustaining
and growing a dynamic engineering profession by ensuring a diverse and
well-educated future engineering workforce ond raising pub'ic
understanding and appreciation of engineering contributions to society:

individua's who 'ive and work in Col'ier County and who practice the
profession of engineering in an honorab'e, responsib'e, ethical. and
competent manner: and to recognize and honor those students who have
