EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommendation to adopt a Resolution amending the Collier County
Administrative Code Fee Schedule by adding a fee for property inspections and
removing rental inspection and Post -2009 rental registration fees .
OBJECTIVE: That the Board of County Commissioners (BCC) approves the proposed
changes to the Collier County Administrative Code Fee Schedule and authorize the Chairman to
sign the amending Resolution included in the back up material.
CONSIDERATIONS: In conjunction with the amendment to the Property Maintenance
Ordinance, this item will amend the CDES Fee Resolution approved by the BCC on November
10, 2009, Page 18, Section (00) (Resolution No. 09 -274), by adding a fee for property
inspections and removing rental inspection and post -2009 registration fees from Section "00" of
the Fee Schedule.
The changes are as follows:

a) Rental Property Inspection- $200.00 per unit
b )Re- inspection Fee- $50.00 per re- inspection per unit

C. Initial Registration Fee through 2009 rental registration period- $30.00 per property
d. Annual Renewal- $20.00 /per property through 2009 rental registration period
e. Annual Late Fee- $10.00 /per day per property up to a maximum of $80.00 through 2009 rental
registration period
f. The term "property" means a parcel or contiguous parcels with any number of rentals located
thereupon under common ownership and/or management
FISCAL IMPACT: The fiscal impact associated with the rental registration program was
already discussed by the Board during the November 10, 2009 meeting. There is no impact to the
property inspection fee.
GROWTH MANAGEMENT IMPACT: No growth management impact will result from
this action.
LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS: This item is legally sufficient for Board action. JW
RECOMMENDATIONS: That the Board of County Commissioners approves the proposed

A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 2009 -274,
KNOWN AS THE COLLIER COUNTY COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AND
ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES FEE SCHEDULE, BY AMENDING
PARAGRAPH "00" OF THE FEE SCHEDULE CONTAINED IN SAID
RESOLUTION, PERTAINING TO PROPERTY INSPECTION AND RENTAL
REGISTRATION FEES
WHEREAS, the Board finds that it is in the government and public interest to amend Resolution
No. 2009 -274, consistent with recent amendments to the Collier County Property Maintenance Code; and
WHEREAS, no other fees as set forth in Resolution No. 2009 -274 are being amended by this
Resolution.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that:
Resolution No. 2009 -274 is hereby amended through the amendment of Paragraph "00"
pertaining to inspection and rental registration fees under the Collier County Property Maintenance Code,
as follows:
