EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommendation to ratify additions and a modification to the 2010 Fiscal Year
Pay and Classification Plan made from September 1, 2009 through December 31,
2009.

OBJECTIVE: For the Board of County Commissioners to ratify additions to and a
modification from the 2010 Fiscal Year Pay and Classification Plan.
CONSIDERATIONS: The Board of County Commissioners has authorized the County
Manager to make additions, modifications and deletions to the 2010 Fiscal Year Pay
and Classification Plan, subject to retroactive ratification by the Board. This occurs three
times during the fiscal year - in January, in April and in July. This is the first such
occurrence.
Attached are the additions and a modification to the County's 2010 Fiscal Year Pay and
Classification Plan made between September 1, 2009 and December 31, 2009 (Exhibit
1). The modification reflects modified or new responsibilities. The additions reflect new
functions. There are no recommended deletions for this report.

LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS: This item has been reviewed by the County Attorney's
Office and requires majority vote only. This item is legally sufficient for Board action.-

FISCAL IMPACT: This action will have no fiscal impact to the County.
GROWTH MANAGEMENT IMPACT: There is no growth management impact associated
with this Executive Summary.
RECOMMENDATION: That the Board of County Commissioners ratifies additions and
a modification to the 2010 Fiscal Year Pay and Classification Plan.
