EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommendation to authorize a budget amendment to recognize carry forward for
projects within the Transportation Supported Gas Tax Fund (313) in the amount of
$120,627.00.
OBJECTIVE: For the Board of County Commissioners to authorize a budget amendment to
recognize carry forward for Traffic Impact Study (TIS) Review, Pathways Program, and Planned
Unit Development (PUD) Monitoring/Traffic Counts Payment -in -Lieu Projects within the
Transportation Supported Gas Tax Fund (313) in the amount of $120,627.00.
CONSIDERATIONS: Funds have been collected specifically as payment -in -lieu, project
review fees, and from the application and monitoring process. These funds are required to be
tracked and spent on projects for which the developments were identified for mitigation or on
consultant contracts to perform the studies on the development's behalf under required
monitoring conditions.
Funds deposited in FYI I to be recognized as Carry Forward and re- appropriated into FY 12
projects are as follows:

PUD Monitoring/Traffic Counts $21,622.00
Total $120,627.00
FISCAL IMPACT: In fiscal year 2011, money was deposited into the Transportation
Supported Gas Tax Fund. A budget amendment is needed to recognize carry forward and
appropriate into the correct project in the amount of $120,627.00.
LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS: This item is legally sufficient for Board action. A majority
vote is required for approval. - STW
GROWTH MANAGEMENT IMPACT: There is no Growth Management Impact associated
with this Executive Summary.
RECOMMENDATION: That the Board of County Commissioners authorize the necessary
budget amendment.
