Recommendation to recognize Michael Levy, Operations Coordinator, Operations and Regulatory
Management Department, as the Employee of the Month for October 2011.
OBJECTIVE: To recognize Michael Levy, Operations Coordinator, as the Employee of the
Month for October 2011.
C�ONSIjERATIONS: Michael Levy, Operations Coordinator, has been nominated as the
"Employee of the Month" for October 2011. Mike, an employee of the County for twelve years,
works in the Operations and Regulatory Management Department.
Mike excels at his position in the Growth Management Division Business Center. As an
Operations Coordinator, he performs varied administrative and technical dam, and is the key
point of contact for the Client Services Section. Mikes positive attitude, enthusiasm, and
systematic approach to dealing with inquiries and issues allow him to handle a vast array of
tasks and challenges. He assesses all Zoning, Engineering and Environmental application
requirements to ensure that permits get through the system without issue. He also works with
the applicants and the reviewers to help keep projects on track. Mike's experience and vast
knowledge of the County enhances his department's business processes. He is eager to take
on any task and is always ready to assist his customers and his coworkers. He is a dedicated
employee whose contributions have improved the intake customer service procedures in the
Division.
Mike is a valued team member, and an asset to the County. He is truly deserving of this award.
FISCAL IMPACT: The selected "Employee of the Month" receives a $150.00 cash award.
Funds are available in the employee's Budget Cast Center.
GROWTH MANAGEMENT EN ACT: There is no growth management impact associated with
this Executive Summary.
RECOAUMENDATION: That the Board of County Commissioners approves the recognition of
-Michael Levy as "Employee of the .Month" for October 2011.
