WHEREAS,
The Muscular Dystrophy Association (AMA) is a dedicated partnership of
scientists and citizens aimed at conquering neumnwscular diseases.
WHEREAS,
AMA is one of the world's leading national health agencies supporting
research, patient came, and education, and,
WHEREAS,
the members of the Intenationcl Association of Fine Fighters (IAFF) Local
#2396 /&olden Sate Fire Deparftent, IAFF Local #2297 1North Al ip /es Fire
istrict, IAFF Local #23961East Naples Fire Control and Rescue District,
IAFF Local #45may Corkscrew Fire Control Viand Rescue District, IAFF

WHEREAS,
these firefighters have become a symbol of pride, honor and stret:yth and,
WHEREAS,
these firefighters unselfishly donate their time and energy to supporting the
battle against muscular dystrophy; and,
WHEREAS,
firefighters across the nation are some of the largest supporters in the
United .States to the Muscular Dystrophy Association
NOW THEREFORE, be it, proclaimed by the Board of Canty Commissioners of Collier
County, Florida, that October 17, 2011 through October 23, 2011 be
designated as
