Appointment of member(s) to Hispanic Affairs Advisory Board
OBJECTIVE: To appoint 1 member to serve Hispanic Affairs Advisory Board, term to be until
June 25, 2015
CONSIDERATIONS: The Hispanic Affairs Advisory Committee has 1 term expiring on
June 25, 2011. This 9 member board identifies and evaluates problems unique to the Hispanic
Community, reviews and recommends ways to ensure open communication between the
minorities and Collier County Government and provides periodic reports to the Board of County
Commissioners. Terms are 4 years. A list of the current membership is included in the backup.
The term for Manual Gonzalez expired on June 25.. 2011. A press release was issued and a
resume was received from the following 1 interested citizen for reappointment:
