Appointment of member to the Black Affairs Advisory Board.
OBJECTIVE; To appoint I member to fill a \'acancy for a term that will expire on June 25,
20] 4, to the Black Affairs Advisory Board.
CONSIDERATIONS: The Black Affairs Ad\'isory Board has a term that expired on June 25,
2010. This 9 member committee identifies and e\'aluates problems unique to the Black
Community, reviews and recommends ways to ensure open communication between the
minorities and Collier County Government and provides periodic reports to the Board of County
Commissioners. A list of the current membership is included in the backup.
Mr. Jon Walker's term expired on June 25, 2010. A press release was issued and a resume was
received from the following interested citizen:

introduced himself to the board. The board feels that he would be a great addition to the board
