an May 10, 2011, the Conservancy of Southwest Florida completes the "Campaign far
Saving Southwest Florida': a $38.5 million effort to protect our water, land, and wildlife:
and.
we celebrate the success of Callier Countys largest environmental fundraising campaign in
support of our quality of life in Southwest Florida: and,
the Conservancy of Southwest Florida "Campaign far Saving Southwest FloridaN proceeds
will fund multiple environmental science and research, palicy and advocacy, environmental
education and wildlife rehabilitation projects: and.
the "Campaign far Saving Southwest FloridaN will also fund renovations to transform the
Conservancy into the premier Nature Center in the southeastern (Jnited States with up to
date and modern interactive learning experiences far guests: and.
the sustainable features built into the new facilities and Nature Center act as a showcase
far protecting our precious natural resources and allaw the Canservancy af Southwest
Flarida ta meet the increasing demand far enviranmental educatian and pravide an
enhanced experience far residents and visitars to regian: and,
the gratitude af all citizens af Callier County is given to the generous donors far their
ongoing support, to the ''Campaign far Saving Southwest FloridaN Committee far their
leadership. and to the Canservancy of Southwest Florida members, staff and the
community far' their dedication in protecting our land. our water, our wildlife and our
future and through commitment and collaboration, this day has came.
NOW TH€R€FORE, be it proclaimed by the Board of County Commissioners of Callier Caunty, Florida,
that May 10, 2011 be designated as
