OBJECTIVE: To appoint I member to serve a tenn expiring on December 31, 2012 on the
Ochopee Fire Control District Advisory Committee.
CONSIDERATIONS: The Ochopee Fire Control District Advisory Committee has I term
that expired on December 31, 2010. This 5 membcr committee advises the Board on the budget
and operation of the Ochopee Fire Control District. Members should reside within the taxing
district. Full terms are 2 years.
A list ofthe current membership is includcd in the backup.
The term of Mitehell A. Roberts expired December 31, 2010. A press release was issued and a
resume was received from the following interested citizen:

Board Members perused the application for Joel Anthony Davis and have unanimously
recommended his placement on the Ochopee Fire Control District Advisory 8oard. Currently
the Advisory Board has two openings, making it difficult to obtain a quorum; we are trying to
expedite filling the positions by polling the current members in order to submit the application
before the Board of County Commissioners on 4-12-11
