EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommendation to authorize budget amendments to recognize revenue for the Immokalee
Regional and Marco Island Executive Airports within Collier County Airport Operating Fund
(495) in the amount of $185,000 and $165,000, respectively, and appropriate the funding to
accommodate increased fuel purchases over budgeted levels.
OBJECTIVE: To authorize budget amendments to recognize and appropriate revenue for the continued
purchase of aviation fuels at the Immokalee Regional and Marco Island Executive Airports.
CONSIDERATIONS: Both the cost and volume sales of Avgas and Jet-A fuel have steadily increased
this fiscal year, resulting in budgeted expense levels insufficient to continue purchasing aviation fuels.
Budget amendments are required to recognize revenues and appropriate funding to accommodate
additional fuel purchases for the remainder of FY 2018.
FISCAL IMPACT: Revenues in the amount of $185,000 and $165,000 will be recognized and
appropriated within the Immokalee Regional Airport fund center (192330) and Marco Island Executive
Airport fund center (192370), respectively. Purchase orders already open for Avgas and Jet -A fuel will
be increased accordingly to allow for the continued deliveries of these critical sales products.
GROWTH MANAGEMENT IMPACT: There is no growth management impact related to this item.
LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS: This item has been reviewed by the County Attorney, is approved as to
form and legality, and requires majority vote for approval. -JAK

192330, Immokalee Regional Airport and fund center 192370, Marco Island Executive Airport, within
Collier County Airport Operating Fund (495) in the amount of $185,000 and $165,000, respectively, and
appropriate the funding to accommodate increased fuel purchases over budgeted levels.
