WHEREAS, business and industry are vital to a communitys economic health, and this
is particularly so in Collier County; and,
WHEREAS, existing businesses and industries within Collier County are the key to a
prosperous future, contributing to the current well -being of our citizens
and laying the foundations for tomorrow's prosperity, and,
WHEREAS, the recruitment of new companies to Collier County to improve employment
opportunities and diversify the local economy is considered a priority by
both the business community and Commissioners of Collier County; and,
