EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommendation that the Board of County Commissioners, acting as the Airport
Authority, adopts the attached Resolution approving the proposed rate schedules for the
Everglades Airpark, Immokalee Regional Airport and Marco Island Executive Airport for
2012.
OBJECTIVE: To approve rate schedules for the Everglades Airpark, Immokalee Regional
Airport and Marco Island Executive Airport for 2012.
CONSIDERATIONS: The Airport Authority's Administrative Code, adopted August 9, 2004,
and as amended May 8, 2006, authorizes the Authority's Executive Director to set rates and fees
to the estimated fair market value on products, service and agreements with terms up to and
including one (1) year in length.
Ordinance 2010 -10, Section Five (C) provides that the Authority has the power to adopt by
resolution a schedule of rates, fees, and other charges.
The Airport Leasing Policy, Section II, states that a "Rate Structure" updated and approved by
the Authority annually will serve as a guide when negotiating fees.
The primary changes to the attached updated rate schedules from 2011 rate schedules are:
• Hanger rental rates have been updated based on the Consumer Price Index per the
standard t -hangar agreement approved by the BCC on March 8, 2011, Agenda Item
16G3.
• Rates have been established for transient hangar fees on a space available basis.
• A fuel discount for based customers has been added.
• Fees for items not previously listed on the rate schedules such as, ground power unit fee,
courtesy vehicle late fee, escort fee, fuel /oil spill cleanup fee, fee for replacement keys
and lock changes, advertising space fee, and camping fees at Immokalee and Everglades
have been added.
FISCAL IMPACT: There is no fiscal impact because these rates have been built into the
FY2012 budget.
GROWTH IMPACT: There is no growth impact associated with this Executive Summary.
ADVISORY BOARD RECOMMENDATION: This item is on the January 9, 2012 Airport
Advisory Board Agenda, and it is anticipated that the Airport Advisory Board will recommend
adopting these rate schedules at that meeting.
LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS: This item has been reviewed by the County Attorney, is legally
sufficient, and requires majority support for approval. -JAK

Authority, adopts the attached Resolution approving the proposed rate schedule for the

A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, ACTING AS
THE COLLIER COUNTY AIRPORT AUTHORITY,
APPROVING THE ATTACHED RATE SCHEDULES FOR
2012 FOR THE EVERGLADES AIRPARK, IMMOKALEE
REGIONAL AIRPORT, AND MARCO ISLAND
EXECUTIVE AIRPORT.
WHEREAS, the Executive Director of the Collier County Airport Authority has
recommended to the Board of County Commissioners that the attached rate schedules for the
Everglades Airpark, Immokalee Regional Airport, and Marco Island Executive Airport be
adopted for 2012; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners, acting as the Collier County Airport
Authority, hereby accepts the recommendations of its Executive Director; and
WHEREAS, these rate schedules shall remain in full force and effect until new rate
schedules are approved in January 2013 or later.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, ACTING AS THE COLLIER
COUNTY AIRPORT AUTHORITY, that the rate schedules attached hereto for the Everglades
Airpark, Immokalee Regional Airport, and Marco Island Executive Airport are hereby approved
for 2012.

The Annual Volume Discount Fuel Program offers reduced aviation fuel prices for large- quantity
purchasers of fuel. Customers must have purchased more than 30,000 gallons of fuel in the previous
fiscal year or commit to purchase a minimum of 30,000 gallons during the current fiscal year (October 1
through September 30). Customers wishing to take advantage of this program will be charged the non -
discounted rate for the first 30,000 gallons. Once 30,000 gallons have been purchased, the customer will
receive a credit to be used for future fuel purchases for the remainder of the fiscal year. Credit balances
remaining at the end of the fiscal year revert back to the Authority. Customers will be billed, and credit
