PROCLAMA TION
WHEREAS, Chabad of Nop /es has been operating in Collier County since 2004 and
provides a wide array of educational, humanitarian and social services; and
WHEREAS, Chabod of Naples believes in the importance of the individual and the
significance of every good deed; and
WHEREAS, these qualities have allowed Chabad of Naples to experience tremendous
growth and prompted the capitol campaign to build a new facility; and
WHEREAS, the new Center for Jewish Life will host a grand opening on January 15,
2012 in honor of the completion of 'Phase One" and the initiation of 'Phase
Two ';• and
WHEREAS, the new Center for Jewish Life will offer Hebrew classes, youth /teen groups
and programs, holiday outreach, adult education, crisis counseling, hospital
visitation and emergency food and shelter programs; and
WHEREAS, the new Center for Jewish Life will allow for more efficient operation of two
nonsectarian groups: Friendship Circle, which provides assistance and
programming for children with special needs and the Sunshine Club which
offers programming and visitation for seniors.
NOW THEREFORE, be it proclaimed by the Board of County Commissioners of Collier
County, Florida, that Chabad of Naples be recognized for its growth,
contributions and success in Collier County.
