EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommendation to approve a Resolution and Satisfactions of Liens for the 1993, 1994,
1995, and 1996 Solid Waste Collection and Disposal Services Special Assessments where
Collier County has received payment for full satisfaction of the liens. Fiscal impact is
$68.50 to record the Satisfactions of Liens.
OBJECTIVE: Approve Satisfactions of Liens for the 1993 (account number 2192), 1994
(account number 1821), 1995 (account number 2053), and 1996 (account numbers 2053 and
18885) Solid Waste Collection and Disposal Services Special Assessments where Collier County
has received payment for full satisfaction of the liens.
CONSIDERATIONS:
Resolution No. 94-694, adopted by the Board of County Commissioners (Board) on September
20, 1994, recorded a list of property owners delinquent in paying the 1993 Solid Waste
Collection and Disposal Services Special Assessments, and authorized mailing a written notice
of the imposition of a lien to each delinquent property owner. Resolution No. 94-694 was
recorded on September 22, 1994, in Official Records Book 1987, Pages 1514 through 1749 of
the Official Records of Collier County, Florida. The Resolution placed a lien on certain
residential properties for the unpaid 1993 Solid Waste Collection and Disposal Services Special
Assessments.
Resolution No. 95-475, adopted by the Board on August 22, 1995, recorded a list of property
owners delinquent in paying the 1994 Solid Waste Collection and Disposal Services Special
Assessments, and authorized mailing a written notice of the imposition of a lien to each
delinquent property owner. Resolution No. 95-475 was recorded on September 14, 1995, in
Official Records Book 2099, Pages 1338 through 1574 of the Official Records of Collier County,
Florida. The Resolution placed a lien on certain residential properties for the unpaid 1994 Solid
Waste Collection and Disposal Services Special Assessments.
Resolution No. 2000-236, adopted by the Board on August 1, 2000, recorded a list of property
owners delinquent in paying the 1995 Solid Waste Collection and Disposal Services Special
Assessments, and authorized mailing a written notice of the imposition of a lien to each
delinquent property owner. Resolution No. 2000-236 was recorded on August 8. 2000. in
Official Records Book 2707, Pages 3195 through 3273 of the Official Records of Collier County,
Florida. The Resolution placed a lien on certain residential properties for the unpaid 1995 Solid
Waste Collection and Disposal Services Special Assessments.
Resolution No. 2000-237, adopted by the Board on August 1, 2000, recorded a list of property
owners delinquent in paying the 1996 Solid Waste Collection and Disposal Services Special
Assessments, and authorized mailing a written notice of the imposition of a lien to each
delinquent property owner. Resolution No. 2000-237 was recorded on August 8, 2000, in
Official Records Book 2708, Pages 0199 through 0309 of the Official Records of Collier County,

Florida. The Resolution placed a lien on certain residential properties for the unpaid 1996 Solid
Waste Collection and Disposal Services Special Assessments.
Collier County Ordinance No. 90-30, as amended, provides that satisfactions of liens shall be
approved by Resolution. The attached Resolution lists five accounts (account numbers 2192,
1821, 2053, 2053 and 18885) that have paid in full the Solid Waste Collection and Disposal
Services Special Assessments for 1993, 1994, 1995, and 1996.
FISCAL IMPACT: Payment in full of these special assessments increases the cash flow in the
County's Solid Waste Collection and Disposal Services Special Assessments Fund (Fund 473)
by $516.26. The fiscal impact for recording the Satisfactions of Liens and the Resolution is
$68.50. Funds are available in the County Water/Sewer Operating Fund (408).
LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS: This item has been approved as to form and legality and
requires a majority vote for Board action. - JAB
GROWTH MANAGEMENT IMPACT: There is no Growth Management impact associated
with this item.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve and authorize the Chairwoman to sign the Resolution and
five Satisfactions of Liens for the 1993, 1994, 1995, and 1996 (account numbers 2192, 1821,
2053, 2053 and 18885) Solid Waste Collection and Disposal Services Special Assessments.

A RESOLUTION APPROVING SATISFACTIONS OF
LIENS FOR CERTAIN ACCOUNTS THAT HAVE BEEN
PAID IN FULL, INCLUDING INTEREST, ARISING FROM
THE 1993, 1994, 1995 AND 1996 DELINQUENT SOLID
WASTE COLLECTION AND DISPOSAL SERVICES
SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS.
WHEREAS,pursuant to Collier County Ordinance No. 90-30,as amended, the Board on
September 20, 1994, adopted Resolution No. 94-694 authorizing the recording of notices of liens
for the Delinquent Solid Waste Collection and Disposal Services Special Assessments for 1993;
and
WHEREAS,pursuant to Collier County Ordinance No. 90-30,as amended,the Board on
August 22, 1995, adopted Resolution No. 95-475 authorizing the recording of notices of liens for
the Delinquent Solid Waste Collection and Disposal Services Special Assessments for 1994; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Collier County Ordinance No. 90-30, as amended, the Board
on August 1,2000,adopted Resolution No.2000-236 authorizing the recording of notices of liens
for the Delinquent Solid Waste Collection and Disposal Services Special Assessments for 1995;
and
WHEREAS,pursuant to Collier County Ordinance No. 90-30, as amended, the Board on
August 1, 2000, adopted Resolution No.2000-237 authorizing the recording of notices of liens for
the Delinquent Solid Waste Collection and Disposal Services Special Assessments for 1996; and
WHEREAS, Collier County Ordinance No. 90-30,as amended,requires the Board to
approve by Resolution and record in the Official Records Satisfactions of Liens on all accounts
that have been paid in full.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY,FLORIDA,that

Pursuant to Collier County Ordinance No. 90-30, as amended, the Board recognizes full
payment and receipt of the 1993, 1994, 1995, and 1996 Service Year Solid Waste Collection and

recorded on real property pertaining to the following accounts:

The Satisfactions of Lien, referencing the accounts identified herein, are hereby approved
