EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommendation to accept a donation of 10 slash pine tree seedlings for planting in the Nancy
Payton Preserve.
OBJECTIVE: To receive authorization to accept a donation of 10 slash pine tree seedlings for
the Nancy Payton Preserve.
CONSIDERATIONS: A citizen has approached the County's Parks and Recreation
Department offering to donate 10 slash pine tree seedlings (2" to 10" tall) to plant at the Nancy
Payton Preserve.
With the Board's approval, the citizen will deliver the potted seedlings to Parks and Recreation
for planting.
FISCAL EWPACT: The estimated value of the donation is approximately $10.00. Other than an
estimated two hours of staff time there is no fiscal impact to the County associated with this
item.
GROWTH MANAGEMENT EVVIPACT: There is no Growth Management Impact resulting
from this action.
LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS: The County Attorney has approved this item as to form and
legality. Majority support is required for approval. - JAK
RECOMMENDATION: That the Board of County Commissioners accepts the donation of 10
slash pine tree seedlings for planting in the Nancy Payton Preserve.
