EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Appointment of member to the Radio Road East of Santa Barbara Blvd. to Davis Blvd.
MSTU Advisory Committee.
OBJECTIVE: To reappoint one member to the Radio Road East of Santa Barbara Blvd. to
Davis Blvd. MSTU Advisory Committee to a term expiring on October 27, 2017.
CONSIDERATIONS: This five member committee recommends an itemized budget to the
Board of County Commissioners of the amount of money required to carry out the business of
the MSTU. It also recommends work programs and priorities in accordance with the adopted
budget/budget amendments and may adopt guidelines to govern its operation and the operation
of the MSTU, subject to BCC approval. Terms are four years. A list of the current membership is
included in the backup.
The expiring term was advertised and an application was received from the following interested

The Radio Road East of Santa Barbara Blvd. MSTU has received and reviewed one application by the

The Radio Road East of Santa Barbara Boulevard to Davis Boulevard Advisory Committee was
created on July 28, 2009 by Ordinance No. 2009-44. This 5 member committee will recommend
to the Board of County Commissioners an itemized budget of the amount of money required to
carry out the business of the MSTU, recommend work programs and priorities in accordance
with the adopted budget/budget amendments in carrying out the MSTU and may adopt guidelines
to govern its operation and the operation of the MSTU, subject to approval by the Board of
County Commissioners. Members must reside within the MSTU which will include Sapphire
Lakes, The Shores, Furse Lakes Club, Granada Lakes Villas, Ibis Club, Madison Park, Blue
Heron, Sherwood Park, Berkshire Lakes-Berkshire Pine, Sabal Lakes, and Plantation. After
initial appointments, terms will be 4 years
