EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Appointment of members to the Lely Golf Estates Beautification Advisory Committee.
OBJECTIVE: To reappoint three members to the Lely Golf Estates Beautification Advisory
Committee to terms expiring on October 1, 2017.
CONSIDERATIONS: This five member committee was created to prepare and recommend to
the Board of County Commissioners an itemized budget for the Lely Golf Estates Beautification
MSTU and to aid and assist the Board in carrying out the services of the taxing unit. Terms are
four years. A list of the current membership is included in the backup.
The expiring terms were advertised and applications were received from the following interested
citizens:

The Lely Beautification MSTU has received and reviewed three applications by the prescribed deadline
for its three vacancies. The Applicants were evaluated based on the potential contributions to the
Committee. All three applicants meet the criteria required to be eligible for the committee and reside
within the MSTU's district boundary.
Tony Branco has served in this committee for 11 years and has 1 excused absence. David Larson has
served in this committee for 8 years and has 1 excused absence. Jennifer Tanner has served on this
committee for 4 years and has 1 excused absence. The Committee recommends all three applicants for
Re-appointments.
