The Naples Art Association is here for the community.Artist of all ages and skill levels can hone their talent through our educational offerings or learn about the business side of art as a career. The Naples Art Association provides programming for the beginner to the advanced. In an effort to increase awareness about our local artist, our organization host several programs that allow guest up close and personal access to artist. Our Dinner with Artists series pairs a visual artist with a culinary or performing artist. Together they create an artistic palette to delight the senses. Art education is a necessity to prepare our workforce to lead the nation in our interconnected world. As art program funds are cut from state and federal, research and modern thinking are showing that the inclusion of art as a strategy for learning actually improves test scores and student success. Our summer ARTScool provides children access to learning the fundamentals of science, math, language and technology through the inclusion of art. ARTScool is taught by qualified art school teachers, many from the Collier County School District, and because we are passionate about art being accessible to everyone,we provide need based scholarships. Our recent partnership with Edison State College provides adult students the opportunity to take for credit classes at The von Liebig Art Center. Art is a business. Each artist with a painting in an exhibit or a booth on the street is a business owner. Our organization provides an important venue allowing artists to professionally pursue their dreams and make a living sharing their talent with others. Every painting a collector purchases, they are supporting a small business. Beyond supporting the business of art, art contributes to a bustling and exciting local economy. The art association hosts four major two day festivals that support the tourism and hospitality industries as they bring out visitors and locals alike to shop, dine and stay in hotels.
