II.LIMITATIONS A.Applicability of Fees.The Board of County Commissioners shall set all fees and charges.No fees may be waived,except as stated herein. 1.Government entities shall not be charged rental fees for use of Museum facilities during normal operating hours(subject to availability as determined by the Director of the Museum Division). 2. Non-profit and community organizations shall not be assessed rental fees for use of Museum facilities if the Director determines such use in is keeping with or furthers the mission of the Museum Division: To foster appreciation and understanding of our communities' unique heritage and cultural development. 3. Government entities and non-profit or community organizations whose rental fees are waived and who also use the facilities for gated or ticketed events, or who otherwise fundraise using Museum facilities,shall remit 10%of the gross funds raised to the Museum Division. 4. Minors, the adult chaperones of school groups, and members of degree-seeking adult groups shall not be charged tour fees. B. Non-Fee-Related Policies. The Director, or designee, may waive application of any Division policies or restrictions provided such waiver does not conflict with applicable local,state,or federal laws. C. Promotional Sales and Advertisements. Fees may be reduced from time to time for special promotional sales and advertisements if approved by the Director and such a reduction is applied in a consistent and time-limited manner. D. Refunds. Unless otherwise stated herein or in a Board-approved rental contract, fees may be fully or partially refunded at the discretion of the Director,or designee,upon written request received within 30 calendar days of payment or receipt of service, whichever comes first. A 10%transaction fee may be applied to refunds.
