EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Appointment of member to the Educational Facilities Authority.
OBJECTIVE: To appoint one member to the Educational Facilities Authority for a five year
term to expire on April 23, 2018.
CONSIDERATIONS: The Educational Facilities Authority had one term expire on April 23,
2013. This five member authority was established by the BCC on March 23, 1999 by Resolution
No. 99 -177 pursuant to FL STAT 243.18 — 243.40 to transact any and all business and to
exercise any and all powers authorized by the Act for an educational facilities authority. EFA is
limited to financing projects on behalf of private, nonprofit, post secondary educational facilities.
Terms are five years. A list of the current membership is included in the backup.

recommendation for appointment, appoints one member, and directs the County Attorney to

recommends her reappointment.
