Add-On Item 10F: Discussion of correspondence between North Naples Fire Control and
Rescue District,East Naples Fire Control and Rescue District and Golden Gate Fire Control and
Rescue District regarding potential merger opportunities. (Commissioner Hiller)
Withdraw Item 16A9: Recommendation to approve the development and execution of Temporary
Beach Restoration Easements (TBRE)with beachfront property owners for the FY13/14
Vanderbilt,Park Shore and Naples beach renourishment program and reaffirm the existing Board
of County Commissioners' policy that no renourishment will occur landward of the Erosion
Control Line (ECL) on private property without an executed Temporary Beach Restoration
Easement(TBRE), authorize the Chairwoman to execute Resolution for TBRE,and make a finding
that this Project and expenditure promotes tourism. (Staffs request)
Continue Item 16G1 to the June 25,2013 BCC Meeting: Recommendation to approve the
attached Standard Form Lease Agreement between Southern Illinois Custom Aerial,LLC and the
Collier County Airport Authority for improved property at the Immokalee Regional Airport.

At the April 11, 2013 Board of Fire Commissioners' Meeting, the Board moved to
contact you to convey our desire to participate in open discussion, much as we did in
April of 2012, to discuss a Tri- District merger. The North Naples Fire Control & Rescue
District Board of Fire Commissioners applauds your efforts to consolidate and the
progress you have made to achieve that goal. Our Board is adamant that we in no way
impede your current progress or in any manner infringe upon your efforts to merge. In
fact, we are not only desirous of meeting to evaluate the feasibility and implications of a
three way merger, but to offer any support and assistance which might be helpful to
further your progress.

Re: Response to April 11, 2013 Tri- District Merger Letter
Dear Chairman Lombardo,
Allow me to thank you and your Board members for taking time to contact the
East Naples Board of Fire Commissioners on the very important issue of
consolidation. During our May 14, 2013 meeting, the East Naples Board
discussed your Board's proposal to evaluate the feasibility and implications of a
three -way merger.
The Board made it very clear that it does not have an immediate interest in
discussing a tri- district consolidation if, in anyway, might inadvertently impede
the progress and accomplishments between East Naples and Golden Gate Fire
Districts thus far. I believe your Board expressed the same sentiments. We are
on a very tight timeline and any delays may jeopardize the current efforts and
place the legislative process in question.
As such, we welcome a North Naples Fire Commissioner to participate in our
on -going meetings between East Naples and Golden Gate Fire Districts. I
remain confident that your participation in our current efforts will be greatly
welcomed and assist to establish the framework for future initiatives of fire
district consolidation in Collier County.

information, welcoming a liaison of North Naples Commission participate in the on-
going process between Golden Gate and East Naples FirQ: Districts.
