Recommendation to approve the Satisfactions of Lien for the 1991,1992,1993,1994,1995 and 19%
Solid Waste Collection and Disposal Services Special Assessments where the county has received
payment in full satisfactions of the lien. Fiscal Impact is $97 to record the Satisfactions of Lien.
OBJECTIVE: Approve Satisfactions of Lien for the 1991 (account number 23058), 1992
(account number 29858), 1993 (account number 5678), 1994 (account number 4572), 1995
(account number 5047, and account number 22813) and the 1996 (account number 5335) Solid
Waste Collection and Disposal Services Special Assessments where the county has received
payment in full satisfactions of the lien.
CONSIDERATIONS: Resolution No. 93 -29 adopted by the Board of County Commissioners:
(Board) on January 26, 1993, recorded a list of property owners delinquent in paying the 1991
Solid Waste Collection and Disposal Services Special Assessments, ; and authorized mailing a
written notice of the imposition of a lien to each property owner. Resolution No. 93 -29 was
recorded on February 1, 1993, Official Records Book 1793, Pages 459 through 598 of the
Official Records of Collier County, Florida. The Resolution placed a lien on certain residential
properties for the 1991 Solid Waste Collection and Disposal Services Special Assessments.
Resolution No. 94 -668 adopted by the Board on September 13, 1994, recorded a list of property
owners delinquent in paying the 1992 Solid Waste Collection and Disposal Services Special
Assessments, and authorized mailing a written notice of the imposition of a lien to each property
owner. Resolution No. 94 -668 was recorded on September. 19, 1994, Official Records
Book 1986, Pages. 766 through 942 of the Official Records of Collier County, Florida. The
Resolution placed a lien on certain residential properties for the 1992 Solid Waste Collection and
Disposal Services Special Assessments.
Resolution No. 94 -694 adopted by the Board on September 20, 1994, recorded a list of property
owners delinquent in paying the 1993 Solid Waste Collection and Disposal Services Special
Assessments, and authorized mailing of a written notice of the imposition of a lien to each
property owner. Resolution No. 94 -694 was recorded on September 22, 1994, Official Records
Book 1987, Pages 1514 through 1749 of the Official Records of Collier County, Florida. The
Resolution placed a lien on certain residential properties for the 1993 Solid Waste. Collection and
Disposal Services Special Assessments.
Resolution No. 95-475 adopted by the Board on August 22, 1995, recorded a list of property
owners delinquent in paying the 1994 Solid Waste Collection and Disposal Services Special
Assessments, and authorized mailing of a written notice of the imposition of a lien to each
property owner. Resolution No. 95-475 was recorded on September 14, 1995, Official Records
Book 2099, Pages 1338 through 1574 of the Official Records of Collier County, Florida. The
Resolution placed a lien on certain residential properties for the 1994 Solid Waste Collection and
Disposal Services Special Assessments.

Resolution No. 2000 -236 adopted by the Board on August 1, 2000, recorded a list of property ?0"�
owners delinquent in paying the 1995 Solid Waste Collection and Disposal Services Special
Assessment, and authorized mailing of a written notice of the imposition of a lien to each
property owner. Resolution No. 2000 -236 was recorded on August 8, 2600, Official Records
Book 2707, Pages 3195 through 3273 of the Official Records of Collier County, Florida. The
Resolution placed a lien on certain residential properties for the 1995 Solid Waste Collection and
Disposal Services Special Assessments.
Resolution No. 2000 -237 adopted by the Board on August 1, 2000, recorded a list of property
owners delinquent in. paying the 1996 Solid Waste Collection and Disposal Services Special
Assessments; and auhorized mailing of a written notice of the imposition of a lien to each
property owner. Resolution No. 2000 -237 was recorded on ,August 8, 2000, Official Records
Book 270$, Pages 0199 through 0309 of the Official Records of Collier County, Florida. The -
Resolution- placed.a lien on certain residential properties for the 1996 Solid Waste- Collection and
Disposal Services Special Assessments.
Collier County Ordinance No. 90 -30, as amended, provides that Satisfactions of Lien shall be
approved by Resolution. The attached Resolution lists seven accounts: account number 23058
for 1991; account number 29858 for 1992; account number 5678 for 1993; account number 4572
for 1994; account number 5047, and'account number 22813 for 1995; and, account number 5335
for 1996 that have been paid in full satisfactions of the lien for Solid Waste Collection and
Disposal Services Special Assessments.
FISCAL EWPACT: Payment in full for these Satisfactions of Lien increases the cash flow in the
County's Solid Waste Collection and Disposal Services Special Assessments Fund (473) by
$715.48. The fiscal impact for recording the Satisfactions of Lien and the Resolution is $97.00.
Funds are available in the County Water /Sewer Operating Fund (408).
LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS: This item has been reviewed and approved by the County
Attorney's Office, is legally sufficient for Board action and only requires a majority vote for
approval—SRT.
GROWTH MANAGEMENT IMPACT: There is no Growth Management impact associated with
this item.
RECOMMENDATION: That the Board of County Commissioners approve the Satisfactions of Lien
for the 1991 (account number 23058), 1992 (account number 29858), 1993 (account number
5678), 1994 (account number 4572), 1995 (account number 5047, and account number 22813),
and the 1996 (account number 5335) Solid Waste Collection and Disposal Services Special
Assessments; and, authorize the Chairwoman to sign the Resolution.

A RESOLUTION APPROVING SATISFACTIONS OF LIEN
FOR CERTAIN ACCOUNTS THAT HAVE BEEN PAID IN
FULL, INCLUDING INTEREST, ARISING FROM THE
1991, 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995 AND 1996 DELINQUENT
SOLID WASTE COLLECTION AND DISPOSAL SERVICES
SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Collier County Ordinance No. 90 -30, as amended, the Board on
January 26, 1993, adopted Resolution No. 93 -29 authorizing the recording of notices of liens for
the delinquent solid waste collection and disposal services special assessments for 1991; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Collier County Ordinance No. 90 -30, as amended, the Board on
September 13, 1994, adopted Resolution No. 94 -668 authorizing the recording of notices of liens
for the delinquent solid waste collection and disposal services special assessments for 1992; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Collier County Ordinance No. 90 -30, as amended, the Board on
September 20, 1994, adopted Resolution No. 94 -694 authorizing the recording of notices of liens
for the delinquent solid waste collection and disposal services special assessments for 1993; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Collier County Ordinance No. 90 -30, as amended, the Board on
August 22, 1995, adopted Resolution No. 95-475 authorizing the recording of notices of liens for
the delinquent solid waste collection and disposal services special assessments for 1994; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Collier County Ordinance No. 90 -30, as amended, the Board on
August 1, 2000, adopted Resolution No. 2000 -236 authorizing the recording of notices of liens for
the delinquent solid waste collection and disposal services special assessments for 1995; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Collier County Ordinance No. 90 -30, as amended, the Board on
August 1, 2000, adopted Resolution No. 2000 -237 authorizing the recording of notices of liens for
the delinquent solid waste collection and disposal services special assessments for 1996; and
WHEREAS, Collier County Ordinance No. 90-30, as amended, requires the Board to
approve by Resolution and record in the Official Records Satisfactions of Lien on all accounts that
have been paid in full
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that:

satisfaction of the Lien and hereby cancels Lien.
The Clerk of the Circuit Court is hereby directed to record this Satisfaction of Lien in the official Records of
Collier County, Florida, to acknowledge that the Lien ceases.to exist.
